Orono Farmers' Market Winter Delivery Schedule 07-08

Many vendors of the Orono Farmers' Market are planning once-a-month winter deliveries to Orono, on the second Saturday of the month at the downtown location parking lot behind the Bear Brew Pub. Next winter delivery: Saturday, March 8. Snow date: the following day. In case of inclement weather, a decision will be made by 7 a.m. and an email sent to the list.

Maine-ly Poultry -- (Email - jbarnstein@aol.com, phone - 273-2809) 9 to noon with all kinds of fresh chicken and eggs.

Cornerstone Farm -- (Email hanne@cornerstonefarm.us, phone - 487-5945) She will have a full list of pork, along with nitrate-free ham and bacon.  She asks people to contact her to pre-order. She plans to be at market from 10-11am , and will bring some extra for people who don't remember to pre-order.

Meadowsweet Farm -- (Email - meadowsweet@prexar.com, phone - 338-1265) Paula will have a good selection of beef, ground beef, stew, steaks, roasts, and also have some lamb and mutton.  If you wish to know what we have available, and to place an order to be sure I have what you want, please send me an email. I will also bring a selection of blankets and sheepskins.

Appleton Creamery -- (Email - info@appletoncreamery.com) We will be at the market for a *short* delivery time, generally 10-11. We still have a good supply of goat cheese: spreads, lime pepper logs, feta, but running low on chevre in olive oil. We have a very limited supply of our goat/cow raw milk Camdenbert, very ripe!

Freyenhagen Family Farm -- Jim will be there with maple syrup, phone 785-4559

Vine and Branch Farm -- phone 945-6651 or email vineandbranchfarm@yahoo.com. 9 to noon. Mark will bring a wide selection of grass fed beef and pastured pork.

Far East Cuisine Catering Service -- Bich Nga will have a fine selection of her Far East Cuisine unless she decides it is too cold. Email FarEastCuisine@aol.com, ph. 223-4150. Please check our menu and call us with a pre-order for winter deliveries.
